Historic black and white photos in color; I've never seen Lincoln like this!

Abraham Lincoln, 1865

This famous photo was taken near the end of the American Civil War in 1865. Six days after the end of the war, Lincoln was assassinated at the Ford Theater by John Wilkes Booth.

Che Guevara, 1959

Here's a colorized copy of the famous "Life" Magazine cover featuring Ernesto "Che" Guevara from 1959. Guevara was instrumental in the two-year revolution that ousted the Batista regime.

Albert Einstein, 1939

The german-born physicist who brought us the theory of relativity also knew how to relax, as he shows us in this photo taken at Nassau Point in Long Island, NY.

The Beatles, 1962

One of the most influential and popular rock bands of all time, The Beatles hold the record for most top-100 singles of all time, and are the single best-selling band in history.
