SRT Barracuda Gets Rendered

Car and Driver, with the help of rendering guru John Sibal, have come up with what they say is an accurate representation of a new SRT-branded Barracuda due on the shelves in 2015.
The design of Car and Driver‘s SRT Barracuda is said to be based on insider information and informed guesswork. Chrysler are in the process of developing an all new rear-wheel drive platform, one it can share with its Fiat-owned partner companies like Lancia and Alfa Romeo. The SRT Barracuda is to be the first vehicle to use this new architecture.

The 2015 SRT Barracuda will be similar in size to the current Ford Mustang, making it both smaller and lighter than the Challenger. Engine choices could include fuel economical options, like the new 2.4 litre Tigershark inline four-cylinder, mid-range engines like the Chrysler 3.6 litre V6, and performance-orientated but thirsty engines like the venerable Hemi 5.7 litre V8.
